COVID Terms and Conditions

I, the undersigned hereby declare that not I nor my crew/drivers, as detailed above, have in the last 14 days travelled outside of the province, had any contact with a person who has been infected with Covid19 or showed signs of infection and are not experiencing any symptoms such as fever, coughing, sore throat, body pain, headaches or shortness of breath. I further undertake to contact  Zwartkops International Kart Raceway on 012 384 2303, should I or any of my crew start to show any of the mentioned symptoms in the next 14 days. All information provided is true and stated in good faith and I hereby also indemnify Zwartkops International Kart Raceway against any non-compliance with the regulations and incorrect information. 

 

Information before booking:

Notes for testing at Zwartkops International Kart Raceway:

  1. Zwartkops International Kart Raceway will not open as a sporting facility and will not be holding any public gatherings nor will it hold any competitions and/or recreational events. Public spectators will not be permitted into the venue.
  2. Zwartkops International Kart Raceway will open from Friday 17 July 2020 to be used as a Kart Testing Centre for vehicle testing and evaluation in support of the Automotive industry, subject to:
    • strict compliance with Regulation 11111, the OHS Directive of 28 April and the Risk Adjusted level-4 regulations of 29 April 2020.
    • Testing will be permitted from Tuesday to Sunday between the hours of 9am and 5pm. Testing outside of these times will be by special arrangement.
    • Testing will be by prior appointment only. No “walk-ins” will be permitted.
    • Payment to be made in full prior to use of venue for testing
    • Subject to the booking, time slots will be allocated which are to be strictly adhered to. Testers are to leave the venue after completion of the test period. No hanging around or social gatherings
    • Testing will be limited to 20 karts during any specific period, with 2 assistants per family (ie 1 mechanic and 1 parent).
    • All staff of Testers, will be required under declaration, to verify that they are part of the testing staff and their capacity will be recorded.
    • All Testers arriving at the venue will be subjected to checks at the entrance to the venue including temperature testing, health and contact questionnaire.
    • All testers will sanitize their hands at the entrance and will wear face masks at all times
    • Public and spectators will not be permitted access.
    • Karts will be parked in designated bays with a minimum of one unoccupied bay of 3 metres wide separating the karts.
  3. Testing will be done in two distinctive groups to maximise testing time. There will only be three/four groups in any given time slot. The program will be emailed to all registered for the time slot.
